Dental sealants are a barrier between the deep grooves of your teeth and the bacteria that cause decay. We recommend these treatments on a case-by-case basis and will discuss it with you if we think you or your children might benefit from fluoride and sealants.
Sealants are painless and do not require numbing medication.
Ideally, sealants may stay in place up to 10 years and do not have to be removed professionally. Although effective at keeping decay at bay, they should never be used in place of regular dental cleanings.
